The initiative is conceived to deepen discourse on goals and to support persons, families, groups, organizations, communities, and governments etc who are focused on achieving their goals especially those that will boost sustainability goals..
Broad aims of the Goals Initiative:

Tools
1. A new Goals Sport®: A new sport that is performed to achieve set goals. The sport can be performed to promote learning, engagement, brands, HRM, fund raising, and other process.
2. A novel OPiALIZER Software®: A tool for creating projects that are goal related to translate one's thoughts into a visual model that can be shared to the public in a new social media that is part of the initiative.
3. A new OPiALIZER Show®: A platform where guests will speak about a goal of interest to further sensitize the public and elicit citizen action.
4. An innovative OPiALIZER Community®: A new social media where the show will be streamed live to enable guests raise funds for any goal of interest. The community has key features of typical social media platforms in addition to the integration of the new software which enables screen share and structured presentation of content.

Goals Initiative Components
Goals Survey: The online 5 minute survey elicits opinion on goals, obstacles to goals and the resources required to overcome the obstacles to set goals based on the Goals Model.
Participants: Anyone above 18 years of age can participate in the survey.
Goals Interview: The interview enables opinion leaders to express their thoughts on issues relating to goals in general and in particular, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The views expressed will feature in a title that will serve as an authoritative source of views on goals.
Participants: Leaders of organizations, professional bodies, governments, diplomats, professors.
Goals Research: This is focused on promoting a research culture that will lead to innovative and creative outcomes that will address societal issues and result in the creation of new ventures.
Participants: students in the penultimate year, youth corps members and unemployed graduates
Goals Lecture: A lecture focused on a special theme using the prism of the Goals Model.
Participants: Speakers will be drawn from academia, industry, government, etc and will use the lecture to galvanize thinking similar to inaugural lectures delivered in universities. Speakers will be remunerated and get additional funding to support any goals that evolves out of the presentation.
Goals Challenge: This is an educational, mental psychological, entrepreneurship, human kinetics etc activity involving the Goals Model and Goals Sport that enables leaders to galvanize their supporters and mobilize the resources they need to achieve set goals. The challenge can be used to set agenda, strategy, motivate people towards set goals and mobilize resources to achieve goals.

Goals Fund and Resources
This is a fund we have conceived and will be dedicated to promoting the attainment of development goals in general and sustainability in particular. The fund will support goal oriented projects of any individual, family, group, community, schools, Non-governmental organizations, Inter-governmental organizations, private organizations, development finance institutions, aid organizations, governments etc. Funding will come from our events and support from humanity. This conference will be a platform for researchers to present current works in any field that is focused on goals and how they can be achieved. A key aspect of the conference is new paradigm that will help enrich our understanding of goals.
